No water at all
What it usually means
Often it's the power, a tripped pressure switch, or a pump that's simply lost its prime. None of those mean a new pump.
What we'd do
Snap a photo of the pump and the little switch on top and send it over. We'll talk you through the quick checks, then come out if it needs a hand.
Self-priming, booster, jet or submersible: we've had most of them on the bench. When a repair isn't worth it, we supply replacements from Tsunami and Tado and fit them properly.
Self-priming home pumps
The everyday automatic pump under most Kuching houses. Primes, switches, seals, the lot.
Booster pumps
Steady pressure for the top floor and the back tap. We service single and multi-stage sets.
Jet pumps
Pulling from a sump or a lower tank. We trace lost prime and suction-side air leaks.
Submersible pumps
Sumps, pits and boreholes. We pull, test and reseal, or swap the float gear.
Repair first, replace only when it's the honest call
A worn seal, a tired capacitor or a faulty pressure switch is almost always worth fixing.
If the motor's gone on an old, undersized pump, we'll say so and match you a Tsunami or
Tado unit that suits your tank height and taps.
On-site or workshop
We come to you, or fix it on the bench
For most home pump repairs we come out across Greater Kuching. When it's quicker on the
bench, we take the pump back to our Pending workshop and return it running. Either way you
get a straight answer first.
We've fixed enough pumps over the years to know which faults are quick, which need a part,
and when you're better off with a new one. You'll get told which is which, plainly.

Questions
Pump repair in Kuching, answered
How fast can you fix a pump in Kuching?
Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we'll usually tell you the likely cause within the hour during business hours. Many faults (lost prime, a pressure switch, a capacitor) are a same-day fix once we're on-site or you've dropped the pump to our workshop.
Do you come on-site, or do I bring the pump in?
Both. For most home pump repairs (pam air) we come to you across Greater Kuching. If it's quicker or cheaper to repair on the bench, we'll take it back to our Pending workshop and return it sorted.
Should I repair the pump or replace it?
We'll tell you straight. A worn seal, capacitor or pressure switch is almost always worth repairing. A motor that's burnt out on an old, undersized pump is usually better replaced, and we supply Tsunami and Tado units when that's the honest call.
Which pump brands do you work on?
Most domestic and light-commercial brands found in Sarawak homes, including Tsunami and Tado, which we also supply. Tell us the model or send a photo of the label and we'll confirm we carry the parts.
Still no water? Send us a photo now.
